Breast Health Clarity Evaluation

A one-on-one medical appointment with a breast surgery specialist - so you finally understand what your symptoms or results actually mean.

With Dr. Bill Hoagland, MD.

Breast Health Clarity Evaluation

When something shows up on imaging - or when something feels off and you can't get a straight answer - the standard system is designed to tell you whether there's an immediate emergency.

It is not designed to tell you what it all means for you, personally.

  • What's your actual risk?
  • Should you be worried?
  • Is more imaging necessary, or overkill?
  • What should you be watching for?
  • What would you do if something did show up?

Those questions rarely get answered in a routine appointment. There isn't time. It isn't the focus. And so women leave, technically cleared, but still unclear.

This evaluation exists to close that gap.

Most breast health visits answer one question.

This one answers the one that actually matters to you.

Who This Appointment Is For

This evaluation is designed for you if:

  • You've had a mammogram or ultrasound and left with more questions than answers
  • You were told your results were normal, but you don't feel reassured
  • You have dense breast tissue and want to understand what that actually means for your risk
  • You've received an abnormal or unclear result and want a thorough, unhurried review before deciding on next steps
  • You have a family history of breast cancer and want a real conversation about what that means for you
  • You have symptoms - a lump, pain, changes - that haven't been clearly explained
  • You simply want more than a five-minute conversation about something this important

You do not need a referral. You do not need to have had a recent mammogram. You just need a question that hasn't been fully answered.

What You Can Expect

Depending on your situation, your appointment will typically include:

  • A thorough review of your personal and family health history
  • Review and interpretation of any prior imaging or test results you bring
  • Assessment of your individual risk factors, including hormonal, genetic, and lifestyle considerations
  • Discussion of whether additional imaging or evaluation makes sense for you
  • A clear explanation - in plain language - of what your situation means and what, if anything, you should do next

There's no rushing. No clipboard handed through a window. Dr. Hoagland will sit with you, review your full picture, and make sure you leave with clarity - not more questions.

This is a real medical appointment - unhurried, one-on-one, with a physician who has spent his entire career focused on breast health.

ABOUT DR. BILL HOAGLAND

40 years. Thousands of patients. Now with the time to truly listen.

Dr. William P. Hoagland, Jr., MD is a board-certified physician who spent four decades in breast surgery, diagnosing, treating, and caring for women facing some of the most frightening moments of their lives.

In that time, he developed something that can't be learned quickly: the ability to look at a full clinical picture - symptoms, imaging, history, risk - and understand what it means. Not just whether something is alarming today, but what a woman should know about her breast health going forward.

After a long career in traditional medicine, Dr. Hoagland now practices at At The Well Health, where he has something the conventional system rarely offered him: time. Time to review. Time to explain. Time to actually answer your questions.

He is not seeing you for seven minutes. He is seeing you.

A NOTE ON OUR APPROACH

Deep clinical expertise.

Genuine attention.

No jargon.

Dr. Hoagland is a traditionally trained physician with board certification and decades of clinical experience in breast surgery. He is not a functional medicine practitioner.

What he brings is something different: the diagnostic depth of a specialist, in a setting that gives him the time and space to use it fully.

At At The Well Health, he works alongside Becca Collins to make sure every patient's full health picture is considered, not just the imaging on the screen.

If you're looking for the thoroughness of a specialist without the impersonal experience of a hospital system, this appointment is designed for exactly that.
